You can start this hike in Sexten or Moos – we were staying in Moos, and so headed out of the pretty village and crossed the bridge over the Fischlein river. The views of the not-so-distance Dolomites were already amazing!
We turned left and enjoyed the wander along the beautifully green meadows.
There really are some of the most lovely larch woods on this hike – and plenty of charming old huts in various states of repair!
After an hour or so, we arrived at the Talschlusshütte. We treated ourselves to an ice-cream and then headed off towards Sexten. This part of the the walk is more through the pine woods, but equally charming.
It was then a hour and half walk to Sexten – a charming village worth to take a wander around.
From Sexten, it was another 30 minutes back to Moos – the end of a lovely stroll!
