Partnun – Plasseggenpass (2351m) – Tilisunahuette (2208) – Partnun
Very pretty circular hike around the Wiss Platte
A glorious hike in the limestone mountains of the Rätikon - on the geological border of the eastern and western Alps - with great views of the local giants, Sulzfluh and Wiss Platte.
This is a circular hike starting from Partnun, Saint Antönien in Graubünden (south-east Switzerland).

We parked at parking zone P6 between St Antönien and Partnun. It was then a quiet stroll along the river up to the few huts which forms Partnun.
At Partnun we turned right and headed towards Engi. There were some lovely views as we climbed higher up the valley.
At Engi we turned left and quickly came to the tiny Plasseggenhütte and then shortly after the Plasseggenpass.
And after Plasseggenpass, we experienced a hiking first! We met the man (of of them!) who paints the red and white hiking signs in Switzerland. We had a quick chat with him and learned more about the art of keeping hikers on the right track.
We headed off again towards the Tilisunahütte on the way passing numerous small lakes surrounded by pretty cotton wool type flowers.
This area was once a popular smuggling route and there are a few custom huts around – at least that’s what we thought they were.
After passing the hut and heading back towards Partnun there were some glorious views of Wiss Platte.
We then headed downhill with the Partnunsee in the distance. It was a very hot day and people were swimming in the lake but it did look cold!
There are 2 huts in Partnun – the Berghaus Sulzfluh and the Berghaus Alpenrösli, so if you fancy an end of hike celebration drink, then you have a choice! After the huts and heading back to the car there are some glorious old buildings from the 15th century – very pretty.
We were then back at the car and headed off to the outdoor pool at Pany to relax. A wonderful day!
