Fraxern – Hohe Kugel (1645m) – Fraxern

The Hohe Kugel in Vorarlberg, western Austria can be hiked from many directions. The route from the Fraxern football field is one of the best with views over the Rhine valley all the way to the summit. Perfect!

Intragna – Loco – Passo del Garina (1076m) – Terra di Fuori – Ponta Brolla

In the middle of April, it is normally a good idea to head south to Tessin in southern Switzerland to enjoy early spring time hikes. Spring flowers, warm air and a touch of Italy. Bellissimo!

Berghofen – Starzlachklamm gorge – Günten (1738m) – Berghofen

Early December and no snow, so we decided on a hike through a freezing cold gorge to be amazed at ice formations and then thaw out by hiking to the summit of Grünten. A perfect late autumn's day hike!
