Wonderful gentle, easy stroll around Fadeuer with constantly changing views
This is one of those hikes from which you can enjoy amazing views for relatively little effort. This easy hike winds around the peak of Fadeuer with great views of the Rhine valley, the Swiss Alps and the Rätikon. Wonderful!
This is a circular hike starting from Furna in Graubünden (south-east Switzerland).

What a beautiful simple hike this is! We parked in the tiny village of Furna (it’s even an exciting drive up to the village) and started off. We quickly turned right and headed up towards the area of Scäri – beautiful.
We then swung left towards Chadschlag – this hike is great, the views keep changing as you move around the mountain.
Continuing further, the views changed again and now we were looking towards Hochwang.
Once we reached Waldegen we turned left and headed up the hill to the peak of Fadeuer. It is only 150 height meters and 20 minutes – but well worth it for the 360° views. And there are a couple of benches to take the time to enjoy your lunch.
It’s then a gentle stroll all the way downhill – with the views continuing to change.
There is a lovely section through the woods – the area called Im Gruenen Wald – fittingly translated to “In the green woods”. Once we through the woods it was a gentle stroll along the quiet road back to Furna.
We’re back in Furna after around 5 hours. Perfect!
